Back in January 2021, I got to tour The Three Seven (also called The 37). Located in downtown Waynesville, NC, about 30 minutes west of Asheville, NC (where I’m based out of), The 37 Wedding Venue is a gorgeous, historic event venue with plenty of indoor space to accommodate your wedding or elopement dreams. Built back in the 1920s, surrounded by the Smoky Mountains, and still holding the record for the tallest building, and oldest working elevator in Waynesville, this wedding and event venue has a history to go along with its charming space.
We had the opportunity to tour the space and ask what makes The 37 so special and different:

Price Range
$3,000 - $4,000 Wedding Package - Up to 350 guests, 10 hours rental of venue, 1 hour rehearsal day prior, bridal suite, use of bar (with bartender from licensed company of choice), tables, chairs, catering kitchen, access to decor closet, on-site venue coordinator, hotel blocks, assistance with developing + creating layouts, unlimited access to venue coordinator for wedding assistance. (Price range depends on wedding date, $3,000 for January-March, August + December, $4,000 for all other months.)
$2,000 Micro Wedding Package - Up to 30 guests, 6 hours rental of venue, 1 hour rehearsal day prior to event, bridal suite, use of bar (with bartender from licensed company of choice), tables, chairs, catering kitchen, on-site venue coordinator, hotel blocks.
$1,200 Elopement Package - Up to 10 guests, 4 hours rental of venue, tables, chairs, linens, bridal suite. Must include 1-hour set up and clean up window. (Available Monday-Thursday anytime, or 8am-noon Friday-Sunday.)
*First Floor Cocktail Hour Add-On $750. 10% Discount for Fridays and Sundays. 10% Discount for reception only events (ceremony offsite).
Lodging
Room blocks are set up through the Best Western Smoky Mountain Inn in Waynesville. As always, Airbnb in Waynesville and VRBO in Waynesville are great options too.
Required + Prohibited Items
Must have a day-of coordinator, and choose a caterer from the venue’s list. Bartending and alcohol are not included in use of bar. Couples must provide their own alcohol to be served, as well as 1 day ABC permits if they choose to serve liquor, and all events must end at 10 pm.
